Project Objectives
Wallrocks Antiques is a family owned antique business with a difference. They have an extraordinary level of experience, and not only source and import quality pieces, they then work with their customers to restore them to suit each of them, individually. Their previous site didn’t tell their story the right way, and was also a nightmare for them to manage internally, so they wanted a back end that could easily be updated with large numbers of SKUs.
What we did
First, we interviewed the clients directly to get a sense of what their real point of difference was, and how we could craft headlines and copy that would tell their story differently. Once we had nutted that out, we designed the site wireframe and structure to be all about the product – showing off these stunning pieces.
We custom created coding that allowed for intuitive product population, plus developed a unique way to display search results.
The design itself is clean, sharp, and minimalistic – allowing the products to jump off the page.
The outcome
The Wallrocks Antiques website is a stunning, seamless, European-looking website that portrays the business story accurately. The client has the ability to easily add products, manipulate where products sit, and edit all elements on the page. Most importantly, the client now has a website of which they are proud.
